About Me:

Leek Chinese Herbs & Acupuncture was established in 2004. I have been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine over 20 years in Chinese Herbs, Acupuncture & Massage. I’m a Registered Medical Doctor by the Chinese National Health Bureau. I also was award a British degree in Medical Rehabilitation and have been practicing 12 years in Leek. My aim is to create a true understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the general public and hopes to see the use of TCM incorporated into our National Health system.

I mainly provide TCM consultation, raw herbs, ready-made tablets, acupuncture, Acupressure (medical massage), and jar-cupping.

I recommends a 10 minute ‘chat’ to establish the situation and give my advice on the treatment recommended. Then you can go on and have an in depth consultation.

The consultation is done using a variety of approaches including Chinese Tongue and Pulse diagnosis. Detailed questions are asked and the answers compiled to help to create a picture of the pattern of imbalance within the body. A treatment strategy is then planned. This will be either Herbal medicine, Acupuncture or a combination of both treatments. I will also give advice on diet and exercise.

When treating, I may include a combination of any of the above therapies or part of them. I often uses a combination of therapies together with information on diet and exercise. The initial session will last for approximately 45 minutes. Subsequent sessions will be approximately 30 minutes.

Treatment time varies with each person. After 1 session you can often see a difference, after 1 course you should notice a change in your situation.

A commitment to 5 sessions is recommended.
